The folks @ Duncan pickups and have jumped on the bandwagon and started making 7 and 8 string high gain pickups with black covers and silver poles showing. Can't blame them. I"ve been trying to work a set along these lines in to my setup for some months now. In the general 7 and 8 string world, LUNDGREN is considered, of course, to be the spiff boutique crazy gain way to go, but now the big vendors are wanting to snag some of that lucrative speciality market.
Not to diss Duncan. They make some GREAT pickups. Not the least of which is the Dimebag DimeBucker, the Invader, the list goes on. Just to say that it looks like the big vendors are getting in to what was a niche, speciality market.
