Sweeping Noise !, how to stop the open string from sounding!!

Btw. why don't you practice 3 string and 5 string arpeggios first? 4 string are the trickiest to play so if you are new to sweeps go for 3 and 5 strings first. Apr 12 2007, 01:49 AM	Fire Up The Blades, Moderator Posts: 8.933 Joined: 6-March 07 From: St. Petersburg, Florida	Yeah, muting is where sweeping gets tricky, and i cant do 4 string sweeps to save my life, i can do 3 and 5, and 6 if i go slower, but NEVER 4, i dont know why, try moving your palm down the strings as you sweep, liek palm muting.
