Man, I wish there was a "clearer" view of the fretboard (that's my secret for ear-to-eye transcriptions!) I'm not very good at it (recently started). But, what really helps is a free program I installed called "Sigma Player". I input any MP3's saved to my computer and I can then play them in slow motion. Sometimes it becomes difficult to listen that way, especially when other instruments are playing as well. But, this would be a good example of a song you would want to slow down... Getting youtube videos onto the program. Now, that's another story laugh.gif .

*Keep in mind that they have better programs that allow you to change the slow down speed, and they don't alter the quality either (but keep in mind they aren't free!)* wink.gif

I'll try it tonight... maybe I can come up with something. DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING FROM ME THOUGH!!! laugh.gif tongue.gif

Alright... I am slowly (but, possibly surely going to get this unsure.gif wink.gif smile.gif )... If I fail (which I don't plan on doing smile.gif )... A few tips are do work on both hands separately, and to pay close attention to the fingers he's using... and of course, don't forget your handy-dandy dampener (say that 5-times fast).

Keep, in mind I started like 5 minutes ago. I only have the left hand of the intro (sort of) sad.gif ... But, I can be really picky about my products. So, I want to make it the best I can.

Here we go... This took me a few hours *Exhausted*... I know it doesn't seem like much. But, I felt this is a good start for now. By the time I have my next entry, you will have nailed this part wink.gif. The Blue lettering is the Bass-note (Played by your right hand), and the Black lettering is the Melody (Left hand). I'm not 100% sure if it's correct. I mainly went by looking at his hand and playing what I thought sounded good. Feel free to adjust it yourself (but, I think it's fine so far). I hope to finish it sometime this week. Play safe... and don't you hurt yourself wink.gif laugh.gif !!!

Pretty sure this is legal biggrin.gif unsure.gif tongue.gif

Keep in mind... This is my first actual attempt at transcribing... So, please criticize! It will only help me for the future wink.gif . Thanks!

If you want to save videos from Youtube on your computer, you can use a program called "Any Video Converter" as the title propose you can change format afterwards.. I used this a lot to change videos into mp3 and other stuff.

Could use that along with the slo-mo program to transcribe in the future? Any video is not illegal software. However it's not free either. But its super handy and I personally paid for it.

Sorry, guys! I've been in Canada! This is the first time I've had access to the internet in a while, and I don't think I'm gonna try to tab the rest of the "Mario Theme song" in a coffee shop laugh.gif! I will be at a different hotel soon, so hopefully I will be able to finish it there...
