What is a jumbo fret exactly? Is there a noticeable difference between a jumbo fretted RG and say a strat?

I have a similar guitar to it. It's the Ibanez Prestige S1620 and I love it!

It has Jumbo frets with a Wizard 2 flat neck (Great for shredding!) and a Zero-Resistence Tremolo. Definitely worth the investment in my opinion!

i usually dont play that much metal im more interested in solos
-led zeppelin, the eagles, acdc etc..
-> i dont like gibson and i own a fender strat so i just found this guitar which i really like, but i hadnt the chance to play it!
is there also some punk sound in it like my chemical romance etc.?
