Sony Vegas Movie 8 Platinum Hd Options

Hi,
Does anyone use the the above Sony Vegas 8. I know its an older version but it is cheaper now than the new 10 version and I dont want to pay out £60 or so when the 8 will do for just uploading to 'Youtube' and a second overlay video track.
I would be most gratefull for any comments on this.

I use 8.0.
It works good for my purposes and actually has quite a bit more capability than I have used. Normally all I use it for is to sync audio to video and maybe to fade and trim the ends.

Would love to hear from the others though on the more advanced features.

It should work great for your needs! Vegas is a great product and I didn't notice much difference between the versions in terms of versatility and power. If its cheap and supports formats you will be using - go for it!
