Hi guys,
been working with speedpicking recently, and trying to get a 45degree incline with the pick. however when i try this the pick makes next to no noise when it touches the string, even with the volume turned to max! When I pick with the pick parallel to the string i get a normal loud noise.
I'm currently using a 1.6 mm thick heavy pick and its a little blunted at the end - could this be the reason why i'm not getting a loud sound?
If this is the case, what is the correct thickness and type of pick to use specifically for speed-picking?
