They are a great band, but you have to be in that certain mood to listen to them. It's like music to chill to.

I enjoy DMB very much, Dave can really play the acoustic well and fill up some space with his style when he's playing solo... DMBtabs.com is an excellent place to learn about his technique. I also enjoy John Mayer stuff, and he was influenced a lot by Dave Matthews. He even owned a Dave Matthews limited Martin (DM3MD) before he became popular himself...!

Dave Matthews band!

I love it!, it is my favorite band!. I think he is a very good acoustic guitar player, and his songs are very emotive.

cds that I have:

1- Under the table and dreaming
2- chash
3- Recentry
4- Eat, drink and be merry
5- Remember two things
6- Two steps
7- Before these crowded streets
8- Everyday

My favorite: Crash... I recomended it.

I love the Dave Mathews Band cover of The Door's Riders on the Storm.
Haven't heard too many of their other songs however.

I haven't heard many of their songs either, but I'd have to say that I enjoy them. They are great, but as it was said before--they are a band to chill to.

...you will have taken your very first steps towards Johnson land...

Guitars: Epiphone Les Paul Standard (Modified), Yamaha Pacifica (Black; modified with different humbuckers and a few other things)

Equipment: Vox DA5 Digital Amp (It's a little weak, but fun nonetheless), Line 6 Pod X3 Live

Wishlist: An Ibanez RG Model, and a yummy Pavel and Andrew Cockburn JEM.. Mmmm. I'd also love a Marshall Stack. That'd be awesome. :D
