This is an unrehearsed jam with trombonist Ed Earley, bassist Jamie Webber and drummer Colin Holmes. Video from July 5, 2012. This song is an ode to the plight of workers everywhere.
If You Live (Mose Allison) If you live, your time will come. (repeat) So child don't mess with that cotton sack, It'll scratch your knees and crimp your back But if you live, your time will come. If you live, your time will come. (repeat) So child don't mess with those pots and pans, They'll sure enough ruin those pretty hands But if you live, your time will come. If you live, your day will come. (repeat) The sun's gonna shine and the crops will grow And you think that you won't have to worry no more And if you live, your time will come!
