Hello, all! I ordered a "Touch style guitar" from a company called Krappy guitars less than a week ago (The owner has a sense of humor ) . I had a lesson on one of these instruments, and I was inspired enough to buy one for myself! Thought I'd share for anyone who has ever wanted the quality of a Chapman Stick, but felt it was a bit of a stretch for the ol' wallet .
He's sent me three pictures so far... I was not expecting him to be working this quickly. The man I had a lesson from said it would take about 4 months to make it... Again, it hasn't even been a week yet.
Cool!
Yeah, he sure has a sense of humor. "Krappy guitars", that's funny
I'm sooo excited! I wish someone would add a "Touch Style Lesson". This thing is so cool, yet so foreign to me!
Wow cool! 12 strings a couple hands full
??? Wow! What kind of guitar is that?
Nice! .. I want a Krappy guitar too
Cool, good luck learning how to play it! I've always wanted to try one out.
Thanks guys! I will be loading on more pics soon (next time I receive them anyway ).
Krappy, that's pretty interesting. Looks very good tho... We'll see the final results and make our judgement
Alright, He already finished it ! It's hasn't been two weeks yet, and he's already finished!!! It's going to ship out Monday. WOOT! $750 total .
So that's how a Krappy Guitar looks like
Congratulations, and have fun with it. I do hope it doesen't sound like Krap though ^^
that looks like insanity on a piece of wood.. i wish i had the patience to learn how to tap that well congrats on the new guitar!
Wow man that looks very interesting ! Wonder how it sounds! What you gonna play on it ?
That thing is a monster man! What is the string layout on that?!?
Related to Ivan's post: isn't it gonna be a drag to change strings on that?
Restringing that monster will surely be a "Krappy" experience.
Thanks guys! I plan on having no clue what do do with it once I recieve it. Maybe, If I get good enough I'll make a lesson (for those few brave soldiers who play sticks). Speaking of which... Does anyone know a good lesson site for sticks I can start with?
What a Krappy guitars... congrats for the new baby and good luck for the strings changes...
750$ is really great price for something ala Chapman Stick, congrats!
Can you put regular electric guitar sets on it or you need some special sets? If you need some specials sets that could be expensive
