all I know is that Casiopea and Tsquare are two different Jazz Fusion bands from Japan, and they must have at one point thought it would be a great idea (and what a great idea it was) to get on stage together! Just found this on youtube! also I was introduced to Tsquare through this forum post by VinceG https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...;t+square\ which contained this awesome song/video that got me hooked the crazy thing is that none of these guys seem (to me) especially talented, but the music is AWESOME |

Wow ! The music was beautiful, and I loved the way each instrument had a kind of duel in the beginning, like a show-off thing !

Some of the classic artists in this genre worked with Miles Davis in the late 60's, when it was a new sound. 'Bitches Brew' is an amazing album from that time, one of my all-time favorites. John McLaughlin did (most of?) the guitar on that album. Since that time there's been a huge number of jazz/rock bands with fusion influences. Two more recent jazz guitarists I like a lot are Bill Frisell and John Scofield. thank you, im going to check them out now Alan Williamson (For some more modern metal influenced fusion) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMxrT0088as Allan Holdsworth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCRqjZDBgVQ Guthrie Govan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yPEewaalik Atheist (Jazz-Fusion influenced death metal ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz4TkW7Q_GE...=PL&index=7 thanks for the names and the youtube links, GG is one of my favorite players, and i already heard some allan holdsworth. never heard of the two fusion metal artist, i am listening to them now -------------------- My gears are:
