New to GMC. I've been a singer song writer exclusively until about a year ago. Was asked to play lead for a group and quickly met my limitations as a guitarist. Took theory in college, however my guitar skills where more about knowing chords and chord progressions. I've watched about 10 video's now and already fill better about my guitar playing. I know that I will be a completely different guitar player in a year! I'm 45, but hell, I'm going to be 46 no matter what! Better late than never.

Interesting background + smart thinking!

One thing I do wish you had on your site. Tone. Pedal effects and how to get them. What happens if you put this pedal in front of this one kind of thing. That would really be cool.
I know that I am a GMC'er for life. Keep up the great work.

The reason we don't have so much of that - is because I suck at it!
When I have had the choice between finding a perfect effect pedal or practcing until I got cool sound out of my techniqe I have always chosen the later.
However, we do have some great knowledge on the gear board - hopefully you should be able to get the information you need there!
