P.S. I've been googling around and finding out more about MHD and various custom pickup shops. These folks are connected in the family tree to some serious heavy hitters from ESP guitars, and other boutique shops such as these guys.
http://hwpickups.com/ In short, it's lot deeper than I ever thought! Much more pedigree than I thought possible for a fairly new, boutique shop.
