DC DOES NOT EQUAL OUTPUT. Dc is a resistance value and that is all. It WILL NOT tell you what it will sound like, it WILL NOT make you sound like another player.

Here is an embed of the HOT pickup vid. (For embedding, playlists don't work so well, so you gotta uncheck the "play from this video in the playlist" box)

**P.S. Is your Monster A 8 that I'm so stoked about anywhere near this hot?

P.S. I've been googling around and finding out more about MHD and various custom pickup shops. These folks are connected in the family tree to some serious heavy hitters from ESP guitars, and other boutique shops such as these guys.

http://hwpickups.com/

In short, it's lot deeper than I ever thought! Much more pedigree than I thought possible for a fairly new, boutique shop. MHD is very humble it seems not tooting to hard on his own horn. Well played on that! Let the pickups do the talking smile.gif But I figured I'd toot just a bit in case smile.gif

Thanks guys, and yes Todd i have a couple of interesting things coming your way. I am gonna send you the "proprietary" mag wind just to see what you think. Also something in the 16k range and a Manfred. I also have a Dean pickup here that the bobbins are a bit taller than most so I think i can get up in the 30k dc. WTH should be a fun experiment.
