My name's Matt, I'm 19 and I've been playing guitar for about 3 years (can't believe it's been that long!). Buddy Holly and Queen were the two main reasons I started playing.

I had a good guitar teacher who taught me alot and also introduced me to many more bands but I finished lessons last year because my new job didn't give me many free evenings. Since then I was kinda stuck just learning new songs and the amount of time I spent playing went down. GMC seems to helping to stop that! The stuff I've looked at on here is great and will keep me busy for ages!

My first guitar was a Les Paul style Vintage, which is currently sitting at my mum's house. My current guitar is a Fender Strat. My Amp is a basic 10w Marshall but I hope sometime I'll have the money to get a better one

One thing I don't know alot about is guitarists (I feel embarrassed to even mention it ). Can people recommend guitarists and groups I should listen to, particularly in rock and blues?
