As i wrote in another thread, i was listening to a marvellous guitar sound yesterday. It was an amp built by Lars Reinau in Denmark. I've contacted him by now, and Im going there next week. He also does amp mods etc. His amps are hand-wired custom built based on Fender Tweed Deluxe. I just got this picture:

I think about 1000-1200$, but im not sure, I saw one used for about 800, but I will ask in my next mail to him. So just stay tuned! smile.gif

Yeah, I was about the say the same thing, Cornell ones are really top notch tweed amps.

I'm not sure what kind of transformers are used in these amps, but I think definitely top notch ones should be used. As far as I saw, Mercury magnetics
makes great transformers and they have versions for many vintage amps.
