As i wrote in another thread, i was listening to a marvellous guitar sound yesterday. It was an amp built by Lars Reinau in Denmark. I've contacted him by now, and Im going there next week. He also does amp mods etc. His amps are hand-wired custom built based on Fender Tweed Deluxe. I just got this picture:
And here is what they sound like, played by Andreas O'Carrol. http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7812331 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8056138 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7777254 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7796044 I will report on how this is progressing, Im looking forward to this!!! Awesome amps, Dennis Cornell makes something very similar in this country, Eric Clapton has one of his. Yeah, I was about the say the same thing, Cornell ones are really top notch tweed amps. I'm not sure what kind of transformers are used in these amps, but I think definitely top notch ones should be used. As far as I saw, Mercury magnetics makes great transformers and they have versions for many vintage amps. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
