Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi, welcome to the REC Zone !

You chose a great lesson to work on, it's a classic. You've got good rhythm skills in general. You did well with palm muting and switching between muted and non muted chords.

One thing you could work on is making sure that your pick is definitely catching all of the strings when you play chords because in some places it sounds like you're only getting the root note, especially during the last chord progression.

Apart from that, good work !

Good job! Your timing is fine, but as Ben pointed out, make sure to hit all the notes in the chords, not only the root notes. Another thing, I would recommend taking down the gain of your sound a bit, it sounds a bit too distorted, with slightly less gain it will sound clearer and you will also have more punch and attack.
And one final note (not that it would make your playing any worse): Check out the tabs for my lesson again, the final chrodprogression is slightly different compared to what you are playing ;-)
But as I said, good job!
PS: I don't know if it is only for me, but video and sound are not in sync here.

Nothing else to add aside from what Marcus and Ben already stated smile.gif It also seems to me that the video and audio are a bit out of sync.

Keep up the good work mate and you can get this one perfect smile.gif
