Has anyone tried this program?

It looks like another alternative to audacity and reaper

Thanks for sharing. I think it's a pretty basic software, having only 2 inserts per channel, 3 band EQ, and 3 inserts on the master channel. But it can serve for some backup purposes, it has all the necessary stuff there.

We should put this on the list of available DAWs on the Wiki, nice job finding it smile.gif

The free version of the program does not allow me to import any VST instrument, but recording is working fine.It does support all the plug ins I have and use in Nuendo.Every thing is pretty much in automatic mode.
Ther program instantlly recognised my sound card and all the effects previusly installed.
I would say it is pretty easy program to use,but you will have limmited options when it comes to Virtual instruments. But for recording only guitar or vocals, and learning how to mix and produce, this program very good.
Controls are prtty same as in Nuendo and Cubase. And the program looks like lower verson of Cubase or Nuendo. So if yoou know how to work in Cubase, this will be pretty easy program to follow.

It's seems like a good "beginner" DAW, but for more advanced work the capabilites are a bit limited (but hey, it's free).

Thanks for sharing this smile.gif

That's a nice find man.
Certainly useful for collabs and to get into recording.

I used to use it a while back, but I think I stopped using the Free ware version as you can't export in mp3 format, which at that time was necessary for the project I was involved in and that's when I found Audacity!

Lol. I was actually going to post the same then I saw you'd already said it.

I just bought Studio One Pro a few weeks ago. It is extremely stable, very intuitive, heaps of user-friendly ideas, powerful and just works!! I can't recommend it highly enough! I had been testing DAWS lately as I'd reached the limits of Mixcraft (my current) and was just getting frustrated. I'd tried Sony Acid, Sonar, FL Studio and some other one and when I installed the S1 demo...wow!
