Rick is an incredible and rare-occurring phenomenon. He can shred melodic rock with the best of them, and yet he’s arguably an even more accomplished classical player. He recently posted a video of Bach’s Prelude from Bwv 998, which is my favorite classical acoustic piece ever, and previously I’d only been able to hear it played by Eliot Fisk. Great seeing it live.
