Germany will win. Holland are all selfish play. They suck no matter how star studded are the team. Robbin, the worst player. He must have this ego that he is the senior most player so why pass.. It was aweful to watch their last game. sad.gif

To be fair, Robben tried a shot early on, it went pretty badly, then ended up guilt-tripping himself into passing, when he should've shot tongue.gif

Siding with the germans on this one, I don't really know the other team.

I really hope that Germany wins because they play the most fun football to watch. And it started good

1-0 Mario Gomez

You're not out just yet, Germany just needs to beat Denmark (which will probably happen), and you need to beat Portugal by 3 goals (assuming that Denmark doesn't score against Germany) - it's going to be tough!

My prediction went right. Its too bad that these days, football has been really boring. Once you score, you start playing defensive. The score line is very low. Germans scored twice and the stayed back a lot. At the end, they were just trying to waste time by not attacking. Italy plays the worst game on this aspect. sad.gif I guess they just have to "win" rather than play a nice fun filled football. Anyway, good for germans.

Germany will spare some of their best players, so they will be satisfied with a draw.
Holland will beat Portugal, and this will make Germany and Denmark 1 and 2 in group B.
Just like I said all the time biggrin.gif

I think you should keep in mind that it was really hot in Charkow, so it was a pretty natural thing to stay back a bit. You could clearly see that in the last 10 minutes, the dutch also didn't have any more power left. Seems to me that the matches that take place in Poland where it's colder are a bit more action packed.

I wouldn't be so sure about that...I think Löw might give 2 or 3 other guys a chance, but don't think they will be satisfied with a draw biggrin.gif

Yup, agreed. It's not like they have only a few good players.

Posted by: Gitarrero Jun 14 2012, 04:31 PM

Yeah...especially when it comes to the offensive midfielders, there are some really good guys waiting to get their chance. And Podolski and Müller weren't that good the whole season...so I think we might see Reus or Götze, and these guys will want to take their chance.

Oh yeah? I saw some videos of the Bundesliga when checking out Kagawa (so, Dortmund) and was really impressed by the level, was also how I found out about Lewandowski and Piszczek (I have never known much about the polish team). May start watching it when it starts up again, but with Podolski and Kagawa at the PL now, maybe I won't need to!

Posted by: Gitarrero Jun 14 2012, 04:45 PM

Yeah, Götze plays in Dortmund as well, but was injured most of this season. But he is really great. Reus is playing for Dortmund next year and played a really good season. It's worth checking them out.
Though I have to admit, Dortmund wasn't that great in the last Champions League season. And although I don't like them at all, I really hope they will do better this year.
