I know Kris probably made a announcement or mentioned it somewhere but I dont know how many of you really have found a use for the "My Notes" section in lessons.

I thought I would offer some advice to those who havn't been using it biggrin.gif

1. Keep Track of Metronome Progress- Its a perfect place to store your day to day progress with the metronome and see how you have improved. It will be rewarding if you look back 14 days from when you started a lesson and you see how many Bpms, you have actually improved sense Day 1.

2. Keep a Lesson Diary- Have a day by day track of how your doing on the lesson. Write down little things that bothered you. Things you had trouble with. Why you think you had trouble with them. Things you think your doing well at. Be honest with yourself.
You could tell yourself your doing good with a lesson, but your ears dont lie. You cant argue with success, and thats what your aiming for ! Its also a good idea to keep this little day by day lesson diary so that you stay on top of your practicing.

If you think you want to take a day off, say " Well then I will have pages missing from my diary, so I need to keep playing."

3. Write Down Your Goals- If your constantly looking at what your trying to achieve, and you have it carved in stone ( So to speak. smile.gif) , than your more likely to achieve that goal. So you can keep track of weekly, monthly, or even yearly goals in the "My Notes" section for challenging lessons. Who knows, you may want to only learn 1 lick ! Still its always nice to help remind yourself what your trying to learn, and if you forced with the pressure of trying to reach a goal that may not even be possible by the end of the Month, you will still practice hard to try to achieve it. biggrin.gif

Hope that helped, See ya around the forum biggrin.gif

Very useful tips !
I like the fact that everything gets saved so you can come back and read it.
Its like having online diary for every lesson. Pretty cool concept . Can't beat that smile.gif
