Jem 7v, golden color

hi dudes,
as you know the jem 7v has gold-plated screws and 2 of them on my jem lost their shiny gold color and got pale..
is this normal? what can i do to expand the color's life time? huh.gif
-bought the guitar 3 months ago!

THey are not golden as "made of gold" but just gold plated. It is normal to loose their color with time. GO to some jewelry store and ask the question, they know this business wink.gif

You can use Jewelry polish to make the gold plated screws color last longer.
Just go to a jewelry store and ask them what they use to polish gold, and there you have it smile.gif

If the gold already have come off, I don't think you can do much..

DOn't really know, maybe they were exposed to some chemicals during trasport or something who knows. unsure.gif Try your local dealer, or maybe a jeweler.
