Hi,

I have a gig this Saturday and I went there to check the place today. They usually don't have live music at the place, so they have this DJ mixer , DJM 600 from pioneer
http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/44/74...-600/specs.html

The problem is that it only has RCA inputs for the normal channels. I tried cheating by plugging my POD X3 live into the return channel of the mixer (which has 1/4 inches jack). With that setup I could get in, but there is some extra noise and that kills the microphone channel of the mixer (that we also want to use when playing).

I was thinking that solution is to buy converters from 1/4 inches jack to RCA and go on the normal channels of the mixer. But I am a little worried. Is this going to work at all?
Anyone had similar experience?

Can't see why the converters shouldn't work. the signal should get through whether it is RCA or Phono...

This should work mate, and also its a good choice to plug in directly from POD to mixer (in this type of gig) ...Just make sure you have some monitoring on stage or something so you can hear yourself and your band mates smile.gif
