Need Some Gear Advice

I've only been playing serious for the past 1yr at school but my guitar addiction has hit me hard and i play all the time. Anyways i posted on here just to get some advice on some pedals and gear stuff you guys suggest for someone new to it all. right now i play a fender 08 american standard (love that guitar) through a line 6 spider iii 30 watt. i like my amp but i have been meaning to switch over to a tube amp of equal or better quality. i also have been looking at some effects pedals since alot of the guitarists i like have massive pedals boards. i've been looking into the line 6 dl4 delay pedal it caught my eye. but anyways any suggestions you guys have would be greatly appreciated thanks You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick. Oh and don't bother with pedals before you bought the actual amps, one thing after another^^ Well to be honest i dont really have a set style or anything but i would like to play pretty much anything from funk/jazz stuff to metal. im really into the mars volta and that style of music. i know tube amps can get expensive so i'd my price range would be anywhere from like 400- 750 leaning a bit towards the middle. i really need an amp to jam with my freinds and to perform in like small gig setting and stuff. thanks guys for the suggestions they've been very helpful. May 24 2009, 08:05 PM	Learning Rock Star Posts: 1.758 Joined: 13-April 08 From: Merseyside, UK	As you have a spider already take a look at the valve series, they are a bit more cash but they have a valve power amp ceveloped with Bogner amps and a lot of built in effects too which means its great to take to jam's as a one box solution, the 40w 2x12 is around 560 stirling. If you want a more vintage type of tone and feel, you could do a lot worse than the Hot Rod Deville series by Fender, at 40w of all tube they are very, very loud and have astonishing clean tones, superb for blues but not for metal though really, is around 550 stirling. Marshall's Triple Super Lead has 3 channels and is all valve with 60w of Marshall grind at your disposal, its a little more than your budget but still should be considered, great or all things rock, blues and metal! retails around 800-ish stirling.
