lol, I am using EMG's since about 20 years now and I have never ever heard about this mod

if you get the 24 volt mod i bought off ebay, there is nothing done to your guitar, so if you dont like it you just put the 9 volt back in

Here is the link to the item I bought on ebay. It is 24v and acts just like a 9v battery! No alterations done to the guitar at all!!

I will also try it, yesterday I ordered those battery clips, as soon as I get them I will go for it. Maybe I will do a little "how to do it" lesson about it, with sound examples of course.

yea, you should do it...i had the 18v mod in my ltd lp.....and yea, it rocked. adds more balls trough walls sound to it
