Hi again fellow GMC wikiers(or readers laugh.gif )

I've written an article on guitar injury viewable here!

I know many of you have experienced injury in the past or may be experiencing some at this very moment, I had the misfortune of suffering from a relatively bad injury recently that left me not using my left hand and arm for the majority of a month, I've taken a note of what helped me get better and how to avoid this happening in the first place and placed it up for all to see. I've also taken into account a large amount of advice offered by GMC members on similar topics and attempted to compile it into this article.

If you feel you have any additional advice, feedback or feel I have got something wrong in the article then I urge you to edit it to your own satisfaction (this is after all what wiking is all about and I'm aware that some of you will have much better advice to give than myself!)

Thanks smile.gif

It should. It is a serious freakin thing. No matter how young and strong you feel, you will get injured if you arent careful. I'm not sure how long it have been since I have been able to practice guitar. 3-4 months now? I found the key to get well though, so I'm soon back on track(FINALLY). Injuries can happen over night(did with me).

Great work Owen.

Really good job Owen! This is a really important topic, and a really good work. Everybody should read this.

And I added a bit on the Avoiding Injury-part about exercising regularly, hope that's ok, but I thought it was important since I'm facing the consequenses of not having done that for a while now.
