I've been browsing amps in the UK and have noticed that the British models are quite a bit cheaper than buying from Germany, around 10-30% up to a stunning 43% in one case
Marshall DSL50 head UK £699 Germany £902 - 22% cheaper in the UK Sweden £1143 - 39% cheaper in the UK Orange Rocker 30 Combo UK £725 Germany £811 - 12% cheaper in the UK Sweden £836 - 13% cheaper in the UK Randall RM100M (not very British but a price difference) UK £749 Germany £1281 - 41% cheaper in the UK Sweden £1109 - 32% cheaper in the UK Vox AC50CP head UK £499 Germany £782 - 36% cheaper in the UK Sweden £880 - 43% cheaper in the UK Kind of makes me GAS for a Marshall DSL or that VOX maybe. Randall was a big surprise too. And the long term trend of the GBP is still falling so possibly it'll get even cheaper in the future. -------------------- My bands homepage

That's a big difference. Here the DSL50 head can be found for 800euros. But there is a small catch - currently there is none available

Wow those are huge prices differences also considering that gear is not not generally "cheap" in UK. I think some of these items shipped would still be cheaper then getting it in Germany or Sweden!

Wow those are huge prices differences also considering that gear is not not generally "cheap" in UK. I think some of these items shipped would still be cheaper then getting it in Germany or Sweden! Definitly cheaper than Sweden. And with the low UK currency now also cheaper than Germany. Shipping from the UK is around £30, about twice compared to Germany but stil that's small potatoes in the bigger picture. I'm waiting for the GBP to drop a little further before I place my order. It went up the past few days and I rather it didn't, have to wait for it to drop for a week or so. I want cheaper stuff or none at all! -------------------- My bands homepage

What UK sites are you browsing? Can't seem to find any big difference in UK-DK prices.. (looking to buy an amp myself) guitar amp keyboard But like someone said earlier in this thread if you look hard you can probably find them even cheaper. -------------------- My bands homepage
