Avoid it. Theres better amps out there for the same money. Look into Crates or Vox.

i agree truly not value for money wish i knew a bit more before i handed over my dollars sad.gif read the words marshall and thought got to have one of those then a couple of weeks later had a dose of buyers remorse mad.gif
pretty crappy sounding overdrive i ended up buying a zoom g2 effects pedal two weeks later because of the lame sound

I would not recommend, for the price.. its not too bad but i must agree with my fellows.. there are much better amps out there, I also do not recommend Crate but Peavey, Line 6, Laney are all good companies which make amps for the same amount. I would definatly jump on recommending peavey. They have great Tone and great built in distortion. I was playing on a little 30Watt the other day and really liked it. I also have a small Line 6 Spider II 30Watt. Its a great little practice amp with good built in effects and overdrive/ 4 different types of distortion. Do not jump for Marshall because of its good name. Really after the Mid80's Marshall amps went downhill sad.gif

This should be in the gear forum, right?

+1 on all of the "avoid"

Laney LC15R, tubeamp, maybe could be something. if you need to play with earplugs, connect a CD or something I'm sure people here can recommend something.

You should be able to find a Peavey Bandit for about the same price, I'd also look into the Peavey Valveking Royal 8, it's a small 5 watt tube amp which should be perfect for playing at home.
