hey just wondering what do you do to get good tone and what could i do to improve my tone on a clean or distorted setting like Eric Johnson because i saw my 1st video recording from last year and my tone was horrible, but now i am alot better than that.

Sorry for the delay!

Well done in the video shredmaster - be sure to keep working on it!

Tonewise - I would add a little more distortion which would give you more sustain. I would also add a little delay and maybe some reverb.

Of course the cheapest and most effective way to improve your tone is by practicing left/right hand accuracy and vibrato - it will have a much more positive effect than any of the things I mentioned above!

Looking forward to see your progress.
