> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

You have a bad day? Just spent two hours recording worse and worse takes for REC? Well, than we have much in common! Yet there is no other way of overcoming the REC syndrome than by recording even more laugh.gif dry.gif

My mimics shows what I think about how I am playing in different moments, but comments and criticism is welcomed, as always.

PS: the lack part was so embarrassing, that it was censored wink.gif

Was this the final take that you recorded after those 2 hours of trying? If yes, then lemme ask you if you check the tuning of your guitar every now and then, or if you only tune it once before you actually start recording. My rating would be higher if the tuning was better, but specially the beginning sounds so out of tune... playing wise it is not that bad actually, but the tuning kills this taker for me, sorry.
But by the way, I love your attitude, keep recording yourself, only like that you canovercome your "rec-syndrome"

I can also hear that the guitar is not perfectly in tune. Playing is pretty good though.

Keep rockin man. I too like the way you play - with a nice dose of persistancy. The playing could be better and the guitar could be more in tune.

Marek good take but I know you can do a lot better. Pay attention next time that your guitar is 100% in tune with backing track. That influences everything (phrasing, overall feel of the song, right notes etc).
