I am not satisfied by the tone of this one. Hi MisterM!
This is not bad at all! Your playing is great. The tone is not bad but I would adjust EQ, since it's lacking some definition. I would add some treble / prescence and maybe lower a bit bass frecuencies. It will appear more in the mix by doing those adjustments. -------------------- My lessons

Hi MisterM! From what I can hear with my headphones it seems that this new tone is closer to the lesson. I don't have access to my studio monitors now. How do you hear the tone? Is it better for you?

Hi MisterM! That take sounds great! Your playing is very precise and close to the original lesson, both the tone and the playing are very good. I think that you can go for REC and you'll surely pass.
The dynamics are better on this one compared to the previous one, but I still feel that you have room to give this more expression. The next step would be to try to be more relaxed while playing it. -------------------- My lessons

I saw the Darius comment about Funk Jazz Licks - It is very encouraging  Funky Satch This is my first record after 5 days of work I have a lot of pleasure with this one. I have to work on the fluidity, I make exercises for it. Hi mate,
The first thing that I note when listening to this one is that your tone fits perfect with the style and backing track. Regarding timing, I note some issues in the first section, before the drums start. Then, your timing becomes better but the overall groove is no relaxed, you need more time to make it sound smoother. There are also some moments where the notes or licks are note completely clean and clear, for example those two strings sweeps near to the end of the lesson. This is not a bad take but it definitely needs more time, keep on working. -------------------- My lessons
