I would say this is a great chance to work on your ear training!!! Forget tablature. Just listen to the solo. Se if anything sounds familiar. Are there licks that you recognize? That you know you can play? Great place to start smile.gif Now move your fingers around the fretboard matching up the tones in the solo, even if it's one note at a time.

Of course, you can go and find the Guitar Pro Tablature for every solo on earth with a quick google search, but where is the fun in that? Challenge yourself to try to work through the solo bit by bit. Break it down in to workable chunks and work on each chunk individually and then put all the chunks together and bam!! You just taught yourself a solo BY EAR!!
