Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Metallica For Beginners by Gabriel Leopardi
Hello guys, I'm a student of Gabriel Leopardi. Worked hard on this one, still not perfect yet, struggling to have a flawless take. I'll keep working on it to get it perfect. Here and there my timing is a bit off. Hi mate,
As you've said, we are working on this one and some other stuff at the mentoring thread so I'll give place to other instructors to make their input about this take. The most important thing to improve here is timing which becomes very problematic starting from the last riff to the end (solo section). There must be something related to that rhythm that is giving issues, please take care of it. Keep on the hard work mate! -------------------- My lessons

Hey there!
Good point by Ben. You are able to get proper sound of your guitar and your position shifts are well executed. You only need to work on timing and clean playing. Timing is usually a matter of two things: 1. Focus while playing 2. Fingers memory First thing doesn't need explanation. As for the other - I think you need some more time to practise until your fingers will not hesitate where to move and press the frets. As long as you need to think on where to place the finger while you play, you will not be able to fully focus on timing and precision. I'm talking mostly about the 2nd part where it's clear it hasn't been learned 100% yet  AS for playing clean. Try to go throug hthis article. There are some important habits we need to get since the very beginning of our guitar adventure.
