Hi there! smile.gif

I've got some questions concernig Joe's "Finger Shifting" lesson and David's "Smart Fingers" lesson. At the moment I'm practicing both lessons to get a better left hand dexterity, but I don't know how much time I should spend practicing them. I know there's always the rule "the more the better" but I don't have enough time to practice more than 10 minutes on each. Is that enough to get some results without waiting a couple of years? wink.gif

And concerning "Smart Fingers", at what tempo should I start? And how do I know when to increase my tempo?

Thanks for your help! smile.gif

I would have to say practise them as long as you think is neccesary. If you feel in you practise scheduale that you only got time to practise them for 10 minutes then do so.......

It all depends on how much you would like to get out from the excercises.

I use Smart Fingers as part of my warm up. I like it a lot so sometimes I spend a little more time on that one. But usually, I spend 5~8 minutes on that. Speed up whenever you are making no mistakes at the current speed.
