Picture looks great but the frame rate is to low, try having it at 25 or 30 fps when recording...

The video quality is very good, however the audio quality could be better. A toneport could bring better results.

So, what are you waiting for? tongue.gif I wish I could record myself well. I have a camcorder which records my classical guitar well, but the electric not. I´ll have to buy an interface. smile.gif

How did you record this ? Its really good quality but you need to set it up having proper fps (your hands move faster than current fps rate can capture)

Nice picture quality and sound is Ok. As others metioned you need to increase the fps rate to 30 if possible, yours is low, probably around 10.

By the way, I can't believe how small the file size is!!, just a couple MB, that's really small. Just this evening I tried with my photo camera and shoot a video, it was 320x240, 15 fps, and with the same length as yours it took 22 MB.

Same fps (15) and 640x480 takes 70 MB with my picture camera. I'm interested to see what size your video will be after you increase the fps.

Oh and congrats on your new camera wink.gif

In movie maker :

File > Capture > video input source (select your web cam) click Configure under it.Go to video settings , you need to have frame rate at 25 fps and resolution of your choice (maybe your webcam can do it just in 320x240 so select that - its enough).Close that. You can try selecting toneport as audio source to directly capture its sound...(haven't tried that before though). Now click next...After you capture (or before) you will face Video Settings tab for conversion. Choose othersettings and browse for Video For Lan (1.0mbs)..Or any other which features 25 or higher frame rate...

Hope this was helpful smile.gif

Didn't it come with a logitech program? Mine did.

That program works fine for recording videos. If you want you can then import the video to Windows Movie Maker afterwards. My experience is that recording in Windows Movie maker isn't that good.

+1 one that..Its cool to have a better external software for capturing..But I'm sure you can make very good results with movie maker too (if you tweak it a little).Whats the name of the software that you use Caelumamittendume ?

edit: nevermind you said logitech program...I thought it came with a more famous one smile.gif

Naeh, it's just a logitech program-ish thingie. It works a lot better and you can have the full sized image when recording. That means if you record in 640x400, you can see the video in 640x400 while recording. I'm pretty sure Movie Maker only allows you to see 320x240, not matter what size you are recording in. It's nice to have a bigger picture, when looking at yourself laugh.gif ...

...or at least to better see where to place your camera for the best picture.

Sure, it's on the CD smile.gif

It's quite easy, and produces some nice sized videos in a good quality for few mbs.

This was captured directly through that program in 640x400:
