Creamy gets used a lot. Usually that's oversaturated high gain tone with some compression. I may be over-simplifying the sound that goes with that word, but that's what I think I was hearing when I heard it used the most often.
Like all words, some folks will walk around misusing them. If those folks are looked up to, say by kids, then the misuse will propagate... very quickly and very badly. Ask around what "owned" really means and you'll find that the kids have been over abusing that word for years. They're working on abusing "epic" now, too. Back to the "tone" words, the most important one is ... tone. Ask what THAT means and see how many answers you get. -------------------- ::jafomatic
