Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! You can post this type of videos at Practice Room sub forum. I think that it's a great decision to start working on improvisation. Practising this diary will help you to connect your fretboard with your mind and your playing will become better and better. Some things that come to mind:

- You need to work on your bending technique.
- You should do some Alternate Picking training.
- Your improvisation need more melodic stuff.
- Incorporate the use of arpeggios and triads to make melodies that follow the chords from the progression.

Cheers!

Hey mate - as Gabe said, the Practice room is the place where you can post these improvisation based videos - one thing that I will suggest aside from what Gabe already said, would be to choose shorter tracks and managing to come up with melodic ideas over them. The shorter they are the easier it will be for you to come up with something interesting that has direction and one more thing - don't think in terms of positions or so, try to sing something in your head and then try to imitate that idea on your guitar smile.gif Have you ever tried this?

Guys already told about the concept of REC section. I can only add that probably now the bending precission is a most need skill for You to have. It doesn't matter how fast You can play with alternate picking (this can wait) but bending is a must, no matter what You play so I highly suggest to focus on this as a priority smile.gif
