Hello Gab,

Okay it's been a while for me. My guitar goals are straight forward and simple actually. First of all I would like to maintain a sense of rhtyhm playing metal and rock grooves while being able to learning some soloing technics including scales and memorizing them. My idea is to begin very basic with some rhthmic&melodic exercises and combine it with some basic rock&metal songs. My musical taste is wide open. from dream theater to jeff loomis, marty&jason, megadeth, sebastian bach etc...All I need is motivation scheduled by weekly progress. I can practise one hour weekdays and 2 hours on saturday and sunday each. So I cant go really fast because of time limitation but I can stick to what you can give me. By the way I cannot join any of gmc chats because of time limitation once again.

Here you can find my 2 old recs out of 6 which are real basic stuff uploaded in 2012.

let's begin? I fastened my seatbelt already!

Hi mate! Thanks for the updates! Those old videos sound good. I can notice that your rhythm technique was tight for that basic metal rhythm lesson. Your playing on the neoclassical lesson was also good but it needed some more work on specific areas like vibrato, groove and dynamics.

I don't know how is your playing at this moment but I suspect that it's a bit below those videos, isn't it?

Based on it, I think that working on two new lessons that cover rhythm and soloing could be a good first step for our first week of work together, and also to then determinate what techniques need more focus now. We can do the lessons choices together, but these are my suggestions:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...nner-solo-in-d/
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Van-Halen-Style-Rhythm/

If you feel that the solo lesson is a bit advanced, we can go for this one: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/The-Vo...Of-Your-Guitar/

What do you think?
