modulation is a key swiching proces in one song....for example if you start in A major scale you swich in some time you pik is wright in to a B major....there are some ruels in cllasical music...but moust of the time you need to get to the dominant chord of the scale you are going in to....so if you go from A to B...while you are in the A scale you need to get to the F# major scale...
