GMC Forum _ Recording _ Tonepor/reaper

Hello, i just purchased the line 6 toneport ux1 one and when i run BadMonkey and try to connect devices it says none found. Also what is a good free recording program to use with this? I tried reaper but im using a mac so that wont work.

DId you install drivers for Toneport or just line6 monkey?

i go it working now. Atm im using GuitarPro to record but does anyone know any good free software for mac recordings

With Toneport comes bundled Abletone Live Lite, you can start with that.

Reaper is now available as a beta version for OSX. it's a little buggy, but improving quickly.

Yes it is, but I don't think you can buy it as a stand alone program. A demo version comes loaded on new Macs with OSX 10.5.
