I would definitely give you a high score if you nail it well (but with a work around).

even though it`s an alternate, but very similir sounding lick ? Yes - but I can't say it as a general rule, but in this case yes. |

Since its a famous song in question, as long as you play the right notes and its sounds good you will get a perfect score from me! Same for other lessons, you don't have to necessarily use same fingering as instructor,for some parts, but if you are comfortable with it and it sounds good why not do it alternate way (if its a logical one too). At least that goes for my grading style.

I believe if you really cannot play it like originally intended, and if you find the method that produces the same sound, I don't see why not you cannot get a 10

I would give you a 10 for originality and creativity. Its awesome that you are finding your way around how to produce exact same thing using other techniques, well done
