On this lesson, the guitar volume issue becomes a more important problem because we really need to hear the tuning and sound that you get of each chord when you play the different riffs. I think that you could try start using some plug ins to emulate your guitar amp, and record your guitar by line using headphones.

About your playing, it is tight in the first half but starting at 00:33, the problems start to appear:

- You have timing issues here and there and it seems that the problem is that you are not comfortable with the fast figures and the fast chord changes combined with slides.
- Your power chords slides are not precise, so you need to work on it.
- Most of the chords are muted to early and that makes your playing sound cut, instead of smooth. Try to make the chord last a bit more to avoid those unwanted silences.
- Some chords seem to have pitch issues, but I'm not totally sure about this because I would need to hear your guitar clearly to check it, but please have this in mind.

Hey mate,

Aside agreeing with Gabriel on his observations, I will add a few tips about practicing these lessons which will help you improve your takes:

- try to play along with the original recording and even record over it in order to listen afterwards and check out the differences. It's only after comparing these two versions that we can figure out how things are different. It's not easy to figure them out in real time while playing, or without having means to listen comparatively.

- slow down and practice each part separately before executing the step above. Pay attention to the details that Gabi mentioned and try to implement them consciously in your playing.

- make sure that your guitar is tuned and that you don't push on the strings too much when playing chords for instance, because this usually alters the pitch and it makes the guitar sound like it's out of tune, even if it is.

Hi man, you've got some good basics going on but you just need to hone them now.

Gab and Cosmin have already given you some great pointers.

At 0:21 that D chord is not coming out properly. You're hitting either open A (which is in the chord so is ok) or possibly even the open E (which isn't in the chord, avoid that one) but the rest of the chord isn't sounding.

The rest of the D chords are the same as well so try to sort that bit out as well.. you just need to remember to strum all the strings there
