Workers excavated a hole to fix a burst sewer pipe but neglected to rope off the site.. so kids can still theoretically climb up the slide..

To paraphrase a joke from TV last night:

'Years ago in England we used to teach our kids commonsense. Nowadays we don't do that but instead rely on Health and Safety legislation.'

So put up a fence, give them hard hats, work boots and stick up a H&S notice and they're good to go.
