I played it an awful lot, stopped 2 times and am now terribly slowly leveling my first char towards 80 (still 70 though
 ). Chances are high that I will quit again soonish

Meh. I used to play it... Quite a lot... But I found out that I enjoyed guitar more, so I started using time on that instead =)

To be honest it's only as time consuming as you want it yourself to be (believe me I know - played way too much, but now very limited). And it all comes down to things like whether you are a 'gamer' or not. If games are only remotely interesting for you, the whole game will soon be uninteresting. It's as with several other things in life: it is no problem to do it, but don't overdo it.

Never played World of Warcraft. Can't either because I have other more important things to do (homework,projects,songwriting,etc.) and I don't need an addiction to a computer game to get in my way.
Plus playing guitar is better

I'm really glad I haven't been part of this WOW hype...I guess its pretty addictive and can get very fun..I have many friends that play it A LOT! It skipped me though thankfully
