> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I must say I am quite unhappy with this take, but after quite a few recording takes, each of which sounded worse than the one before, I gave up mad.gif I am learning to stand and play, still it is quite different than while seating.

Any criticism is welcome smile.gif

PS: Part of my head was unfortunately cut in the recording process as You can see wink.gif

I commented on this in another one of your entries here already, but PLEASE turn down your distortion! You are using so much gain that in the end your sound has zero attack, less is definitely more here!
Playing wise the take is ok, but still needs some work, timing is not optimal, bending is not in tune and also your dumping of "unwanted" strings can still improve. But don't worry, I am sure you can improve all this with just a bit of practice.

Definitely less gain. Vibrato should be from the wrist, not from the finger. You did a pretty good job overall but there is a room for improvement. You somehow don't look relaxed 100% and we need to see confidence in playing. Good work anyway

Well played, but less overdrive will make it more defined.
