GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Gmc Backings

Posted by: vampire18 Jul 25 2009, 12:08 AM

i dont know if im the only one who is doing this but when i improv im usually using the backing from lessons at gmc. the problem is that you cant search by key or scale and its hard to find like "natural" backing thats are not very song oriented that you can freely improv on.
so i thoght if some of you also do this and have some lessons to suggest, im sure it will help alot of members

Try this site man, http://www.jamcenter.com/jammachinee.html

Not a lot of backings but you can choose the key and style. It will also suggest scales to use as well.

If we record a lesson in the key of A then the backing is also in the key of A. Try other sites that have been already suggested for that kind of jam
