Okay so it's not perfect, I'm still working on it!

Tell me what you think of this crazyness.

Much love

Sounds like you channeled Robert Fripp from King Crimson. Love it.

Pfff.. mate you know that I enjoy listening to your music, but this one just doesn't stick with me smile.gif It's a bit too extreme and by that I mean that there's too many notes and no melody smile.gif That's just my opinion tho wink.gif

I liked your chordal stuff the other day, but this is not exactly up my alley. Seemed a bit random and all over the place. Sorry!

Hey mate, thanks for listening! Yes it's a bit crazy, I must say that it does sound quite a bit better in the context of the song.
Thanks for your honesty!

Indeed it's quite odd! No worries and thanks for listening!

Thank you! Hopefully the full version of the song and more detailed practice will let the subtleties I want come through and make it sound even better!

I like the 'outside' sound of it. smile.gif I believe once you polish it up it will be a very interesting solo. The tone reminds me a bit of a Holdsworth live CD I have.

Well played! smile.gif It sounded like a fusion/free Jazz thing which will probably not find a lot of fans but this sort of music is in a world all it's own and you really did nail it. smile.gif It did have a Robert F. Vibe smile.gif Also perhaps a pinch of Miles Davis?

In you did want to connect it to a broader audience, some motif/meloy through line additions would serve well smile.gif But as a purist jazz piece you really are spot on the vibe!!

I think it'd be even better if you get some of the bends down a bit better, Vercia. Then I might actually come around to it being more my kind of thing. smile.gif

Yea I've dissected and isolated the bends to make them better. They're very unconvincing in this recording. I'm also using a much more dynamic tone since after this recording to bring out some more sublime flavors. So in short, I agree smile.gif
