It say's sensible jones, since he knows alot bout the harmonica, so I need him to look here. On this site http://www.harmonicasongs.net/cross_harp_chart.htm it says that if you play the guitar in E, you need a harmonica in A. Is this correct.. because I was avbout to buy a E harmonica, but according to the chart that would mean that the backing is in B... Do you know more?

Edit:
I found this site, http://www.grothmusic.com/online/crossharp.htm, it says that you need that for SECOND position playing. This second position style is mostly used for blues, because you get blue notes and you can bend the drawn notes better. The normal, straight harp (same key harp as the track) is mostly used for folk. I think I need an A harp then>!

Yeah, you got it! I mentioned it on the other thread.
Over an E backing an E Harp will sound very 'Major' and 'Happy', whereas an A Harp (Second position) will give you the Blues notes on the draw notes. Second Position is also called Cross Harp.
If you're going to learn by mostly playing in E while you learn then get an A!! (Although learning both First and Second position playing are useful!!)
hope this clears it up a bit!
