Bon Jovi Style Lesson, Ballad Solo -- The "run" At The Beginning...

At the very beginning of this solo, Lucio does that classic sort of run. Check the first thing he does on the "main" section of the lesson. What is this called? The rake is done doing a sweep through the 6 strings muting them with your left hand. It's not something that must be very precise, it's just used as an effect. Make a sweep (upstroke) on the muted strings - from high E to low E 2. Then hit (downstroke) 2 or 3 low strings and do the slide with Your left hand.
