Adam Nitti is one of my Fav Bass players around. I actually had him do a guest spot on a track I was working on a while back. He's a killer bass player/studio musician/instructor. I recently ran across an article of him talking about various playing ideas and he talked about playing "thumbless" which is something I talk about in video chat all the time. It works for Bass too evidently smile.gif (kidding of course). Here is the article in question with some great advice for either instrument.

And here is him playing on that track I mentioned. I did the pop/slap breakdown too in the middle. The track is still in progress.

He really is a sick bassist. I"ve got some of his albums and his work is just stunning. I didn't know other folks were doing the "thumbless" trick to help reset the hand so I was happy to see him doing it too smile.gif
