GMC Forum _ Introduce Yourself ! _ Servus Aus Wien

Well finally I got myself around to subscribe!
What took me so long? I had to buy an audio interface (Focusrite Saffire LE - hope you think it´s any good?!) so that I can practice without waking the whole family up and leave my crappy amp out of the game!

I´m 38 years old and I´m living with my wife and kid in Vienna/Austria.

I "play" guitar occaisonally since I´m 8 years old, but with big gaps in between.

Since 4 months I check out GMC daily to look at new lessons and browse the lessons library - I´m very impressed about the quality of the site, the lessons and the instructors themselves.

My goal: Brushing up my old "skills" and learn the remaining 99%!

Really looking forward to all those great lessons!

PS. I guess it´s some copyright issue that it is not possible to download any back-tracks?!
PPS. My avatar is a photo of my guitar I have since the early 80ies - a Washburn Falcon

About the copyright issues, yes, the backings are copyrighted but I'm sure that if you PM an instructor asking for the backing track you need - that will definitely solve the problem!
