GMC Forum _ Uploads _ My Second Masterpiece

Posted by: Iluha Jan 11 2008, 09:06 PM

I wrote this today, relativley simple, but I could listen to this for hours.

This isn't the finished product though, this is only the ending of the piece, there are two main parts which right now I'm having trouble connecting, as soon as I think of a connecting part I'll post the entire thing!

I tried really hard to pull myself from posting this before it is finalized, but I just couldn't help myself I'm proud of this too much.

The main focus here is the backing guitar, I just put some soft lead bits in the background to emphesize the mood, this is one of those songs that I really don't care what anyone thinks about it, to me it's perfect smile.gif

I hope you enjoy it as much as me.

hello Iluha, great idea, I wish to listen it finished with all the parts !!!

Ah, one thing, I listen that the rythmic guitar is a bit distorted, next time try to record it with less volume (for example down the volume control in your to 50%, I hope it would work)...

Another thing, now I have an acoustic guitar so if you want that I record this song don't doubt to coment it (but wait till february, now I'm really busy).
and maybe next month I would record a lesson with your song Galsmedley wink.gif

Thanks smile.gif yeah I agree it's too distorted, it should be playd with an acoustic, in the final version it will be acoustic no doubt!

Looking forward for that lesson!

Great effort man, I really like the mood of this composition. smile.gif

Off course there are few things that can be better, but I don't want to spoil a perfect thing. Keep rockin! smile.gif

I'm guessing you'r talking about the lead, well it was only an improv of the moment tongue.gif won't be present in the final version.

Thanks for the feedback smile.gif

It sound so great and melodic ! ohmy.gif
There's only one thing I would change about it, and that's making the lead guitar a little bit less sharp ( Just my opinion tongue.gif )

Thanks Mark. smile.gif

And like I said it was just an improv, the finished product's lead fits much more biggrin.gif
